Set in over 10 acres of gardens, orchards and meadows, Le Pigeonnier provides a tranquil and relaxing environment in which to spend the perfect holiday. Situated halfway between the ancient 'pink' city of Toulouse and the Pyrenees Mountains, we offer something for everyone.

The house comfortably sleeps 9 people (and a baby). The accommodation comprises: entrance hall with terracotta tiled floors, leading to:

large dining-room with many original C18th features; door leading to tiled terrace under grapevines and views across open countryside. Huge newly-fitted farmhouse kitchen, with excellent facilities, ample worktops and breakfast table. Sejour, with small library and satellite TV/ video and music facilities. Ground floor WC.

Master bedroom, newly decorated and well- appointed. A further double bedroom, newly decorated and carpeted. One twin-bedded room. Three single bedrooms - all newly decorated and well appointed. All bedrooms are separately approached. Two bathrooms - both with showers, one with bath. Separate WC.

All bedlinen is provided, but please note that we do NOT supply towels.

Our orchard has over 150 fruit trees (including fig, apricot, cherry, plum, pear, almond, apple and peach) - ideal for picnics or just relaxing with a glass of wine in the golden sunshine. There is also ample room for little ones to play safely.

Garden furniture and a barbecue are included. There is also a garden tonelle equipped with table and chairs for eating outside.

A new 8.5 metre X 4.7 metre swimming pool (decked in Nordic Pine) is provided for guests' use. The pool is not shared with any other gite. However, we may wish to use the pool at times, but would always try to respect your privacy.

The historic city of Carcassonne (& airport with low-cost scheduled daily flights by Ryanair) is only 1 hour 30 minutes away via the superb autoroute.
